Collin Szeles

Collin set sail for a lifetime of beer judgings and random themed parties during their college years. Nicknamed "Pirate" by Tyler (who still has no clue why he started it or how it actually stuck), Collin certainly brings the 'alcoholic' out of Tyler. Between becoming beer judges, joining homebrew clubs, and just encouraging and almost always joining in the mass amounts of home brewing sessions at Tyler's, these two will often be caught up in hours-long discussions of the beers (and liquors) they're drinking while the rest of the party has moved their attention to other drunk conversations.

Origin: Freshman Year of Undergrad

Collin and I had the unfortunate experience of taking Calc 2 together our first semester of college while also having a mutual friend, my roommate Glenn. We continued studying together and hanging out throughout college and our shared interest of drinking beer has since developed into ...a more refined shared interest in drinking beer. We also enjoy gallivanting around Cleveland together and brewing/judging beer. Considering he’s a pirate, he’s a very loyal friend (except burning me with a cigarette).

Fun Fact: Collin once rode a giant plastic snail down a hill next to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
